For 28 years, I opened the doors of our boutique every morning with the same hope: that every woman who entered would leave feeling a little more confident than when she arrived.

My name is Jessica, and along with my sister Ashley, I founded Jessica & Ashley – Toronto 28 years ago.

Our story began long before a boutique existed.

Although we were born in the United States, our parents decided to move to Canada when we were young, hoping to build a better future for our family. Toronto soon became the place we proudly called home and, over time, inspired us to create something of our own.

What started with a sewing machine, a few carefully chosen pieces, and countless sleepless nights, gradually transformed into the boutique we always dreamed of.

From the beginning, Ashley and I shared a simple belief: beautiful clothes should never be chosen at the expense of comfort. Every blouse, every dress, every jacket, and every pair of pants was chosen with real women in mind—women who want to feel stylish, comfortable, and confident every day. Over the years, our boutique has become much more than just a clothing store.

It has become a place where customers are greeted by name, where mothers introduce us to their daughters, where loyal customers return season after season, and where visitors from all over North America become part of our story.

Although we have built our lives in Canada, we have always nurtured a deep love for our American roots. That's why so many of our customers have always come from the United States, and it has been a privilege to dress women on both sides of the border.

A few years ago, life asked us to slow down.

My sister Ashley made the difficult decision to retire. Although I miss having her by my side every day, I continue to carry on the dream we built together.

This summer is especially significant for us.

We are celebrating 28 years of Jessica & Ashley – Toronto, and I can't think of a better way to mark this milestone than to thank the women who have supported us over the years.
